Seoul Type Symphony
Seoul is a city in South Korea where I grew up. I had taken Seoul’s unique sounds and synced them with letters in the Korean alphabet ‘서울(=Seoul).’ I’ve always thought that Seoul’s alphabet has an interesting structure of letters. It is minimal, but also playful at the same time. It represents the city as well. I really enjoyed making this video because it felt like making new musical instruments for the city.
